As a Research Scientist at the Prevention Research Center, Dr. Price-Wolf has served as a Co-Investigator examining how the substance use environment, contexts where parents go and use alcohol, and social relationships influence parenting. She uses qualitative, mixed-methods, multi-level modeling, and Bayesian spatial analyses to investigate these issues. In addition to this position, she is an Assistant Professor at the Division of Social Work at San Jose State University, and was previously at California State University, Sacramento, where she was a Co-Principal Investigator of a grant funded by CSUS that examines child abuse reporting. Her work is designed to inform environmental and social network-based interventions that can prevent maltreatment and improve the well-being of children.
Selected publications by Dr. Price-Wolf are listed on NIH’s National Library of Medicine site and on our publications page as well.
