Rachelle Annechino works primarily on ethnographically-oriented, mixed methods projects that investigate the social contexts of substance use. She has a particular interest in how sociotechnological contexts can support or inhibit health equity and institutional trust.
As a researcher, she incorporates an ethnographic point of view with a broad technical skillset. Her experience includes participatory and observational research in diverse settings, writing for popular audiences on research methods and virtual identities, and creative digital media dissemination projects.
