Evidence

• In a randomized, controlled experimental trial involving 14 large public universities, the Safer University intervention was shown to reduce intoxication at off-campus parties and local bars and restaurants.
• The impact was equivalent to 6,000 fewer incidents of intoxication at off-campus parties and 4,000 fewer incidents at bars & restaurants during the fall semester at Safer intervention schools relative to controls
