Moving to Implementation Meeting

This meeting represents the transition from planning to implementation and provides an opportunity for the implementation team to review the draft enforcement and visibility plans.

Preparation:  Project coordinator monitors tasks assigned to be completed before the meeting and maintains ongoing communication with enforcement and visibility leaders.

Each component leader will develop a plan to maximize implementation of their components.  The project coordinator will develop a strategy to address any challenges identified in planning meeting 2.  The preparation for the fall enforcement and visibility implementation is an ongoing process directed by the coordinator and team leaders to complete.

In addition, a party patrol pilot or other enforcement operation that is new to community is planned for the spring as a way to work out any implementation issues and build synergy between the visibility and the enforcement activity.  A priority is placed on obtaining timely visibility prior to and following the operation and test the enforcement reporting form.

Tasks for component preparation and party patrol pilot or other enforcement operation:

  • The leaders will work with their respective teams to prepare  the enforcement and visibility components for the fall implementation
  • Implement the party patrol pilot or other enforcement operation with timely visibility and assess the operation for ways to improve implementation for the fall.
