Management Plan

Planning meeting #2

Meeting #2 moves to more details of the action plan and organizing for implementation.  This meeting is likely to comprise middle-management and front-line personnel who are more involved in day-to-day operations than the senior administrators attending Meeting #1.

Preparation:  Coordinator will monitor tasks assigned and troubleshoot any action plan concerns from planning meeting #1.

The second planning team meeting will additionally include police operation officers and other identified stakeholders that offer value to one or more of the action plan components.  The focus of the meeting is to review specific visibility and enforcement components and obtain commitment to the specific details of the action plan.  Lead persons (point of contact) are selected to facilitate the preparation and implementation of the visibility and enforcement components.  The coordinator should develop a strategy to address any concerns carried over from the initial planning.   In addition, a communication and monitoring system is established between the two leaders and the coordinator for the implementation phase.

Tasks to be completed before moving to implementation meeting:

  • Develop and confirm a preliminary enforcement plan for the fall that includes type of operations and projected dates for the minimum of nine operations
  • Develop a visibility plan for the six visibility components in coordination with the enforcement operations.
